The Space
CombatX will transform Gold Coast Convention Centre into a combat colosseum.
The design will incorporate a Boxing Ring, a Thai style heavy bag area and a clean matted area for live demonstrations.
All 150 vendor booths and zones have been carefully considered to incorporate combat retailers, gyms, wellness products and services, supplementation, supporting services.
Customer activations, live presentations, Q&A panels and VIP areas have all been designed for a natural flow and fun experience for all attendees.

Can I buy tickets now?
The waitlist is open, sign up now to receive priority ticket access.
What should I bring?
Bring your ticket (once they release), comfortable clothing and a healthy appetite for combat sports. Wear comfortable athletic clothing.
When will tickets be released?
Tickets will be released closer to the event. We are specifically holding the ticket release and opening the waitlist early due to the sheer amount of interest we have had in this event so far. This will sell out, register on the waitlist now.
Can I buy combat products at the event?
Absolutely! We will be hosting the best of the best of combat sports brands and exclusive range drops. Some will even have try before you buy in our matted and bagged areas.
Can I meet fighters?
Fighter appearances and meet & greets will be announced as the event gets closer. Register on the waitlist now. (Hint, yes).
Is CombatX only for fighters?
CombatX is built for the entire combat community. The Fighter. The Coach. The Fan. The Family. The Curious.
We pride ourselves on our encouraging culture and welcome ANYBODY to the CombatX space the same ay any combat gym would welcome any client into the space - with respect, encouragement and zero judgement.
Can I train at CombatX?
CombatX expo floor is designed for you to Watch It, Try It, Experience It.
Its not designed as a space for you to get a workout in - however you can get up close and personal with the action, demonstrations, training experiences and interactive activations throughout the event.

Ian Mclean - Managing Director
With over 15 years' experience in business, charity, health and wellness and events - Ian is perfectly poised to lead the operation of CombatX to success.
One of his most proud moments in business was raising $56k for local Gold Coast Charity LIVIN through an automotive auction.
His knowledge in business is accompanied by a relentless drive for success in all areas of his life.
As well as being recognised for his caring nature and charitable efforts, Ian is also a respected member of community sporting with Tallebudgera Untouchables and Eleven Eleven Boxing Gym Coolangatta.
Ian is currently training for his first Amateur Boxing match and is excited to show the Gold Coast what he can achieve with CombatX.
Joel Keily - Event Director
With over 30 yrs experience in the combat sports industry, Joel has both fought and trained with some of the best fighters and gyms in Thailand and Australia.
His knowledge as a fighter and trainer is accompanied by over 20 years in the events and promotions sector.
As well as being a highly recognised official for multiple combat sanctioning bodies, Joel is known for his attention to detail and dedication to the growth of Martial Arts in Australia.
Joel forms a valuable part of our team bringing a wealth of both fight and logistic knowledge to the table event
