Ian Mclean - Managing Director
With over 15 years' experience in business, charity, health and wellness and events - Ian is perfectly poised to lead the operation of CombatX to success.
One of his most proud moments in business was raising $56k for local Gold Coast Charity LIVIN through an automotive auction.
His knowledge in business is accompanied by a relentless drive for success in all areas of his life.
As well as being recognised for his caring nature and charitable efforts, Ian is also a respected member of community sporting with Tallebudgera Untouchables and Eleven Eleven Boxing Gym Coolangatta.
Ian is currently training for his first Amateur Boxing match and is excited to show the Gold Coast what he can achieve with CombatX.
Joel Keily - Event Director
With over 30 yrs experience in the combat sports industry, Joel has both fought and trained with some of the best fighters and gyms in Thailand and Australia.
His knowledge as a fighter and trainer is accompanied by over 20 years in the events and promotions sector.
As well as being a highly recognised official for multiple combat sanctioning bodies, Joel is known for his attention to detail and dedication to the growth of Martial Arts in Australia.
Joel forms a valuable part of our team bringing a wealth of both fight and logistic knowledge to the table event
